Despite its relaunch, the airline has faced challenges, including operational adjustments and route suspensions. As of January 2025, Mexicana announced the suspension of eight routes due to strategic restructuring, reducing its network to 10 destinations. As of April 2025, Mexicana de Aviación operates a limited number of domestic routes from its hub at Felipe Ángeles International Airport, with a fleet that includes Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
